Is it possible to make a 165-pound division in the UFC? We tried to play with the idea on my radio show, holding a mock draft. With names like Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Kevin Lee, Georges St-Pierre and more, is there enough talent to go around? We experiment with the idea to see if it’s possible.

Ferguson
165 would be the best division hands down. All the best fighters are in the middle ground between LW and WW forced to either fight up or down.
At 165: Tony Ferguson, Nate Diaz, Dustin Poirier, Dos Anjos, Donald Cerrone, Michael Chiesa, Paul Felder, James Vick, Kevin Lee, Alex Oliveira, Khabib (He definitely moves up), Jorge Masvidal, Al Iaquinta, Yancy Madeiros, and unfortunately Colby Covington
175 could benefit Hendricks if he came back but also Kelvin Gastelum, Till, and Tyron
You know why the UFC would do this, is to help Conor get a third belt and him being the first to do it which is bull.
