BERT, you’re suffering a mild disassociative state directly connected to alcohol and/or Benzo withdrawal (ie. Xanax, Valium, etc.). Your GABA receptors are left screaming when you drop off any of these drugs and it can cause all sorts of problems because your GABA needs to re-balance/metabolize. It’s honestly incredible you’re not suffering more, nor having extreme versions of these side effects. Which isn’t fair to say because ANY version of these withdrawals is potently terrifying to say the least. Please consider staying away from booze, BUT DO NOT SUBSTITUE with pharmaceuticals. It’s pure evil. If you’re still having trouble with anxiety, panic, or sleep, look into natural remedies/help like Valerian root. Hope this helps!
