  1. Never knew that Joey Styles and Don Callis were going to be the announcers for the re-launch of WCW.

To this day, I still think the wrestling world would be in a much better place if Eric Bischoff and Fusient would have been able to pull out that deal. I think the intrigue around a new product – especially centered around a new look with new voices – would have gotten a buzz.

  2. I disagree with Eric on one point. He acts like because he made friendships while at WWE it was all for the best. It most certainly was NOT for the best for fans or the wrestling industry, or the effort of the people who built WCW. I just shake my head. I enjoyed Nitro even in 2001. It should be noted WWF'S popularity was on a down turn at this point. My casual wrestlibg fan friends had basically tuned out of RAW. I had to turn it on at their place trying to see the WCW talent. I wish Eric and Ted Turner would take another crack at it.

  3. I had no idea that new logo even said wCw. I thought it was a cool looking cross with World Championship Wrestling under it. Like the old Milwalkee Brewers logo but much worse :p

  4. The night the monopoly was born, and the night sports entertainment tried to permanently kill pro wrestling

  5. Booker T was great but he was awkwardly booked as a Rock knock off. He was fun to watch but I preferred Harlem Heat style Booker. 3 Count was hilarious and awesome btw!
