83 Weeks #15: Monday Nitro 8/9/1999

Eric and Conrad believe this could be their best episode yet! There is so much to cover from Rap is Crap, Master P, a KISS wrestler, the boys abusing the injury clauses in their contracts, Nash losing some confidence as booker, and of course Hulk Hogan breaking out the red and yellow for the first time in years! This is the “State of WCW” from the Summer of 1999–just about a month before Eric was sent home! Don’t miss it!

  1. Ernest Miller is one of the reasons I quite watching WCW..his name his actions ALL SUCKED!!

  2. You know I got into the Attitude era but, I still loved wcw espically Nitro. It makes me mad when people said it sucked. Dude, wcw was awesome and I miss it to this day. I know it's not possible but, I wish wrestling would revive a competing company against wwe. Eric, "controversy creates cash!" 😉😉😉

  3. I'm sorry, but I still believe Eric Bischoff was and is a total mark. The problem was that everyone else who ran WCW before or after except for Bill Watts was also a total mark (Jim Herd, Kip Frey, Russo and Ferrara, Craig Leathers, etc.). The truth is: NOBODY could succeed in the position they were in. Why??? Because of the other jackoffs at Turner Broadcasting (except for Ted Turner) HATED wrestling. When the other mergers happened, it was only a matter of time…

  4. It's days like this I'm truly TRULY grateful for Conrad, Eric, Bruce, and Tony. No matter how tough the times are for me, no matter how I'm laying my head at night, I relax and listen to you guys. Thanks for taking all of us to a time where the only worry we had was switching back and forth from Nitro to Raw.
