  1. Chael has the heir of politician about him… one that would get outted in the press for a huge scandal mind you 😂

  2. I disagree with Chael to an extent. That's like if a man gets engaged to his woman and then the night before the wedding she cheats on her fiance and then he breaks off the engagement and asks for the ring back and then she says "well technically according to California law, its an unconditional gift, I legally own this and don't have to give it back" The way Chael is explaining this is like if the guy were to say "Well technically according to California (insert state) law I just have to show up to the weigh in and I can legally quit 1 second into the fight and collect my check"

  3. Chael has an interesting argument but he's wrong on one point.

The promoter can definitely claim monetary loss in regards to loss of reputation.

The fighters are out there representing as Fighters and the paying customers do expect a certain level of professionalism and product and they are providing a service but that service is entertainment.

If it wasn't they wouldn't have to televise or sell tickets. Any judge would realize this falls greatly below the expectations of what a fan.

In doing so this hurts the fighter, and the promotor and league he was representating.

Even if he gets paid I imagine they could have it reduced and frankly no one would ever hire him again but I feel it would be worth a case.
