5. In regards to the occupy movement/burning man 1% thingy:

   The reason we are all upset about the economic system we are all under, is that there is hardly any upward mobility possible with hard work in the current economic structure. There are only rare community minded businesses anymore. All the jobs are corporate, all workers are expendable and paid minimum wage. It pretty much doesn't matter how much you work your minimum wage job, 70 hours a week will only suffice to pay your rent, eat enough food to stay alive, and live with minimal tools (internet etc). Yes there are opportunities to utilize those tools for expression and business, but we can't all be podcast stars, and online entrepreneurs. It is difficult to find an opportunity to finance even the baby steps of chasing your dreams if you are stuck in the minimum wage dystopia that is the current American corporate economy. As chuck points out in fight club, we are a generation pumping gas, and bagging groceries. That was 20 years ago. Now they just have customers check out their own groceries… straight up, this economy is fucked
