5. You went on a little rail track tangent at the end there Chael. Here is where I disagree with the your opinion regarding the referee comment. I agree refs should be silent to the public; however since he spoke about it. I think he meant to say that since Eddie (a veteran) fighter was violating rules of engagement in sport combat; he wanted to establish control of the fight and octagon control of this magnificent chaos he is seeing. Eddie was cheating plain and simple. He was stuck in that front headlock, he used small joint manipulation with the finger gouging as we do in CACC. I agree the elbow rule and the kneeing rule are both stupid, but the Veteran of fights broke them. It is what it was! Dustin Poirer just has his number. Oher than that I agree with most of what you are saying. Peace!
