  2. 100% there is a chance Chinese phones could have some sort of Chinese government required "stuff". The Chinese government requires all companies to let them have access to their business on every level. There's no conspiracy againist trying to keep the American phone companies on top. I mean Samsung isn't American. I mean shit, the head of Huawei is former PLA and held in high esteem by them and their IT labs.

    Either you're right or you're wrong. If you want to be right, you can't let yourself believe people who are wrong. If you care about anything that someone who is wrong is about to affect, then you will discriminate against that person to prevent yourself from being harmed.

    Example: Suppose you are in a chemistry lab and your coworker mixes the wrong chemicals, blowing up a bunch of lab equipment and injuring people. If that person doesn't admit their mistake and learn, they are a walking disaster so long as they have access to the chemicals in that lab. If you don't discriminate against them by firing them, you are submitting your other employees to harm.
