Is Colby Covington being stripped of his interim title?

Recently crowned UFC interim welterweight Champion Colby Covington was offered a fight with UFC Champ Tyron Woodley. Without enough time to train for the fight, there are rumors the UFC brass offered the fight to rising star Darren Till. The story becomes more confusing when Tyron Woodley said he was not offered Till or Covington and Darrent Till reported he was offered Tyron. Chael Sonnen chimes in and wonders what the true story is.

  1. That’s why I don’t watch or care for interim fights. They don’t mean anything except try to imitate it as a championship fight.

  2. Next up everyone gets a belt… The participation belt is next…. There are no losers… Just show up and you get your belt! Interim belt is the "your not the best" belt but here is something shiny to keep you happy…… WHATEVER.. . Only one belt is what it should be and what it really is… Anything else is just a participation belt for no hurt feelings basically…. Need to get real… Only 1 belt.. one champ…. And ofcourse that one champ is Chael…. Still never lost a single round!!!

  3. Tyron defeated colby before he even entered the cage. The threat to release his sisters DM's were enough to make colby disappear.

  4. Just strip Woodley and have Till and Covington fight for the real belt!!! That would be a fun fight!!! Give Woodley the interim belt!!!! Since they strip, pull belts however they want.. Might as well just do that….till / covington fight be way more interesting than anyone vs woodley

  5. Commenting on rumors? I don't think you are doing your boyfriend Colby any favors.
