Amanda can keep retiring talented fighters, it's a shallow pool to begin with and only getting shallower. Women's mma is fading, you had Gina, Cyborg, Ronda, Meisha, JJ and they're all gone or fading. Who's left to carry mantel, Rose Paige and Amanda? Amanda has talent but not the marketability of her predecessors, nor does she have much competition left unless you want her beating the same girls again. Only fight that interests me is a 125 catch-weight with her and Rose, let's thin things out even more.
Nunes is often overlooked. Last night solidified her place among the greatest in mma history.
