  1. This fight is interesting because Amanda Nunes broke the unspoken Brazilian code of not going against your flag in competition if you do not have to according to the Chris Cyborg. I actually link this tacit understanding to the non-combative antics of Anderson Silva against Damian Maia. There was a palpable discomfort he had in finishing a countryman. I know everyone will through Vitor Belfort in my face. Here is my guess as to why that affair was a different energy, fight, and result. Belfort said that Anderson wore a mask. His explanation was that he tries to impress the fans too much. However, I think Anderson may have taken it as a shot to his national identity. He was trying too hard to represent Brazil, the implication being that perhaps he was not a genuine one at heart. The only time when this hush hush Brazilian code melts away is when one gets called out for being Americanized. Remember Jessica Andrade saying to the media that, "I am going to beat up that American girl," speaking of Claudia Gadelha who is also Brazilian.

Here is the question when It comes to cheers and jeers. Is Amanda Nunes the super Brazilian for attempting to take all the chips even if it means wiping out a fellow Brazilian, or is Cris Cyborg the true Brazilian for enforcing the order the maximizes Brazilian presence in the UFC? No right answers, only a very fun dynamic!

  2. This fight is gonna show how good Holly Holmes REALLY is!! Cyborg is gonna smoke this chic down. Amanda made her bones beating a washed up scared Rousey.
