Former WWE writer Jimmy Jacobs gave an interview recently about how the WWE creative process works, proving that they do, in fact, write for an audience of one. You can guess who that person is.

  1. About 15-20 years ago if I was asked, who is the most brilliant innovative businessman, who people love, I’d say Vince. Now, if I’m asked who’s an example of an out of touch stubborn businessman who people can’t wait to leave, it’s Vince.

  2. As long as the stock going up, stakeholders are happy, and Wrestlemania……Vince could give two shits about our concerns 😄

  3. Jacobs has pretty much confirmed what Punk said. The WWE writer’s room is a chemical spill.

  4. well if I had a podcast for 10 years now I would have hours and hours of audio proof of me saying this shit for who knows how many times. people always blame the creative for any horrible storyline and what not and I always keep saying that Vince is to blame. no matter how good of a storyline that these writers would come up with if Vince doesnt like it its all for nothing. Jimmy didnt reveal anything new. its been said many times before by other people who worked there.
