The asparagus look alike he was talking about was probably baptista alba not brassica. Brassica is the genus of broccoli and other relative plants none of which have nicotine in them. Baptista can be toxic in large amounts but it has nothing to do with nicotine, it acts as a respiratory depressant. This guy is just full of shit entirely.
this is the first time ive seen Ben seem grumpy, not sure the right word but I can see where some of the negative comments are coming from of him sounding like an asshole.
