If we're talking about recent matches I'd add both the Bryan vs AJ matches we've seen on SmackDown, those matches could've easily been a big match for SummerSlam or the Royal Rumble in my opinion.
WCW got out of hand with giving away big time matches on TV once Nitro started.
nWo vs Rock/Austin, go home show for WMX8
That should of been the WM match instead of the 2 matches we got
Batista vs Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle (Iron Man), RVD vs Eddie Guerrero are matches that may have been something special outside of TV.
Any match The Rock and Austin had together one on one on Raw in 1999..
