At UFC Moncton, Artem Lobov lost to Michael Johnson via unanimous decision. In the wake of his loss, MMA Fighting writer Chuck Mindenhall wrote about the curiosity of Lobov’s ability to stay on the UFC roster. SBG Dublin coach John Kavanagh responded to the piece, arguing Lobov did deserve a place in the UFC and not merely because he’s Conor McGregor’s training partner. What’s the truth? Here’s my take.

King Artem of Lobov. Undoubtably the greatest.
He's not as bad as people joke but he's not good enough to really justify keeping around. The UFC needs to focus on quality not pleasing Conor who is closer to being out of fighting than many probably realize
Theres atleast 15 guys that are WAY worse than this guy. His Conor connection helps, AND hurts him
Many have tried, but ONLY HALF have succeeded!
You can't deny the Goat that is Lobov
