Joe, I don't know if you read these, but here's my take on Michael Jackson.
You have a once in a generation super talented kid who is exploited by his parent who sees the lucrative possibilities. Said kid is not allowed to develop his own distinct, individual personality through the normal, every day interactions with other humans. The experiences we take for granted. He's too valuable, monetarily.
Add to this that the child is gay, but is not allowed to develop that aspect either, due to prejudices of the era he lives in, and the damage it could do to his earning potential.
What you end up with is an extremely emotionally retarded gay man who can only connect with children, because that's what he is in that adult body. He was never allowed to mature intellectually and emotionally. An emotional child in an adult body that has sexual urges.
I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to snuggle with those young boys. I'm not excusing it, but given what we know about his fucked up life, is it surprising? I don't think he was an evil, malicious pedophile, but I can intellectually understand if something fucked up happened.
Michael Jackson was a victim, and a clear sign that having all the money in the world and fame isn't Paradise, or Perfection.
I don't know why people keep thinking that Joe Rogan is an interviewer. He doesn't get people on his podcast to interrogate them, he gets them on because he wants to have a conversation with them. If he doesn't go hard on a guest that's fine, and if he does, that's fine too. The conversations Joe has where he interrogates his guests are, in my opinion, the most boring to listen to. Conversations like this one where he just talks to guests as if they're friends and it's super laid back are very fun and relaxing to listen to. But, that's just me.
