Paul Daley calls Michael Page ‘childish’ ahead of Bellator bout

Paul Daley comes in studio for Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show to talk about his opponent Michael “Venom” Page before their Welterweight Grand Prix fight on Saturday. Daley discusses fighting at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, saying he is comfortable fighting in the US, but is disappointed his fight with Page isn’t taking place in the UK. He says the emotional aspect of the feud has come from Page, not him. He also gives credit to Page, saying he’s “a really good fighter” but he says Page has no chance of beating him.

  1. I love how Scott Coker doesnt have a giant ego like some other promoters that will remain nameless and how he can smooth things over with fighters and not ruin a good thing. I wish ufc had someone like him

  2. Has he always been this slow when he thinks or does this poor fucker have ridiculous damage to his brain?

  3. Great interview by Ariel Helwani and I found it really enjoyable to listen to.I like ESPN covers Bellator and all MMA and not just UFC,which i like a lot also, but it is good to see them cover the others also.Paul Daley is a great fighter and amazing knockout artists and I am looking forward to seeing him and Micheal Page go at it.There both great fighters and great at what they do.It's a hard one to choice and go with on that one.

  4. Why does Ariel do this? He knows Daley in the Presser meant MVP's dad's issues which really was and is non of anyone's biz on matters related to this fight because that stuff has nothing to do with MVP. But still he goes on to stir things up, this is why Ariel made a few enemies from way back, Rampage did have some beef with him for stirring some stuff but he kind of let it go over time. Yes hyping a fight is good but going that low is just sick and really disgusting. Let's talk a bit about the styles and the backgrounds of these guys, get a bit technical as well. Will say one thing though yes Ariel has done alot of good in covering alot of promotions and that has really helped MMA but the dude could at least reduce a bit on being instigator NO. 1 of the "I'll kill you in the ring" type of hate between fighters.
