Michael ‘Venom’ Page has ‘zero respect’ for Paul Daley | Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show

Michael “Venom” Page chats with Ariel Helwani on his MMA show and says his fight against Paul Daley in Bellator 216 was “very frustrating” and he “performed horribly.” Page says he is looking forward to the challenge of Douglas Lima in the semifinals of the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix.

  1. Daley is a bad wrestler but he is the shorter and stockier guy. No excuses for MVP but he did get the win and that’s what’s important. I just wish we got to see his striking tested by Daley instead of his grappling. Lima will give us the fight we want.

  2. Page your are crazy skillful haha. You’re takedown defense against an non ground fighter is crazy good.

Like i said before this guy is a joker haha.

  3. We have no respect for your trash ass performance either most valuable pushover.

  4. Just like he was saying after the Fernando Gonzalez fight, it was his timing and blah blah blah. Fact is MVP is a counter striker, who really doesn't initiate any exchanges. So when his opponent does nothing, MVP does nothing. Proof: in the 1st round Paul Daley threw zero strikes, while MVP threw 5. MVP was never going to initiate that fight. At no point did MVP walk Paul Daley down and start throwing combinations. At no point did he stuff Paul Daley takedowns and come up swinging with punches or knees when Daley got up from the ground. Paul Daley closed the distance on MVP and MVP only tried retreating instead of throwing punches or knees or elbows. In round 2 or 3 , Daley took MVP down twice. Daley wasn't the blame, MVP blame totally lies with himself.

  5. Both of them wasted the fans time, either FIGHT or find a new job.
