I have known this guy from a young age. He is insecure beyond words, and he has deep psychological problems. He prefers not to work, and at best, has only had a job maybe twice in his life. HE HAS NO MONEY, none that he earned on his own, meaning he steals, cheats, and cons people and credit card companies from money. I knew him and his family since grade school. His father, deceased, born in Iran; mother born in Turkey. His mother, born in Turkey, is of Greek Armenian descent. His father shortened, or Americanized, his last name when he came to the United States from Iran, at the age of 18. His father made his money from nothing, working hard and owning properties and a used furniture business on College Avenue in Oakland. Aly, Nick, whomever, is not rich. Any money Aly "might" have, has been obtained by fraud or theft, typically theft, con, or swindle from his mother, who is physically disabled and suffers from memory and cognitive loss. He has had at least two bankruptcies, the latest in 2012 when he legally changed his name. His given name was Nicholas Aly Jash, or Aly Nicholas Jash, I can't remember which one now. Before 911 happened, he used the name Aly Ashley Jash at Cal, where he graduated in humanities or psychology (or something similar), not business administration as he states in his posts. He was married to Catherine Wreford for a second, before diivorcing him. Aly had a number of restraining orders issued against him for his actions towards his ex-wife, including the one you speak of in your video, as well as shitting on pictures in her home. His cousin, Amir also contributed to these acts with Aly. In addition to that, Aly had another restraining order issued, protecting another female in the Huntington Beach area shortly after his divorce to Wreford. He is very dysfunctional, has taken on other personas throughout most of his life, made up stories that his father is a KISS band member and his mother a playboy model, that he is from Las Vegas, etc., etc. He was born and grew up in Oakland, CA, not Las Vegas. Nothing of what he writes or claims is true. Nothing. At the very least he is a narcissist, but his psychosis goes much deeper. His father, if he were alive, would be disgusted with him. I know when his father was alive, Aly told him to defraud a woman friend of his, and his father was not only against it, but greatly disappointed with him. If his mom's cognitive ability were reasonably functional, she would be disgusted with him as well. If he wasn't such a horrible person in the things he has done to people and by the things he says, you could maybe feel sorry for him. He does not own any homes, except his mother's home, which he swindled her to sign the deed over to him in 2018. It will be a matter of time before his mother is homeless. Authorities in Alameda county "investigated," but it appears there were some grey areas, and he has managed to get away with that con too. How the authorities couldn't see this or conduct a thorough investigation is beyond me. They should be protecting the elderly and disabled. From what I know, all but two family members (his mother and a cousin), want nothing to do with him.
My recommendation is to stay away from Aly should you come into contact with him. Oh, and the Nicholas Rock Johannsen name came about right when he filed for his second or third bankruptcy in 2012. When he files for another bankruptcy, he will change his name again, likely so he can fraud credit card companies and the like. He has caused a lot of harm to people, family included. I feel sorry for his mother.
