Jay: Are these the tires of the period?
Rod: This is the set of tires that was on the rim when we got the car.. they're from the 50s

Jay looks visibly worried for the rest of the ride

  2. "Zillion dollar Porsche and this is this and that is that and—" It's a goddamn BUG.

  3. This beats any French car in the 'aesthetically challenged' category.
It looked like Jay got noticeably concerned when he heard the tires were from the 1950's.

  4. It's slightly misleading to call this the first racing Porsche. The first Porsche cars were three mid-engined race cars. At least one of these was raced, in hill-climbs and other local events, by Ferdinand. This is the first production-related Porsche to have been raced…. Yep, a nit-picking comment.

  5. Hi Jay i actually had the privilege of going formy licencs in a 1953 1300 Super loved that old
