It's slightly misleading to call this the first racing Porsche. The first Porsche cars were three mid-engined race cars. At least one of these was raced, in hill-climbs and other local events, by Ferdinand. This is the first production-related Porsche to have been raced…. Yep, a nit-picking comment.
