What the PFL Got Right | SiriusXM | Luke Thomas

The first season of the PFL (Professional Fighters League) is over. What didn’t work is that the consumer has yet to really respond to their product. On the other hand, what worked is that Kayla Harrison is ready to be a star. Perhaps more than that, however, is that fighters who deserved a second chance to do something special in MMA got one. They found the right fit and ultimately showcased the best of themselves. That was true for both light heavyweight champion Sean O’Connell and middleweight champion Louis Taylor.

The Luke Thomas Show airs weekdays, 3 to 6pm ET, on SiriusXM RUSH, channel 93.

  1. I enjoyed the fights I watched from PFL. It may not have been marketed well but it was a good product. Kayla Harrison is absolutely terrifying and is a dragon inside of a hurricane but her only problem is she is too big. 155lbs woman is huuuge and she has said she would struggle making 145 if it ever came there. People talking about her fighting cyborg was waaay too soon, cyborg would have wrecked her but PFL is handling her right but she may fall into the cyborg thing where she will always fight women too small and under skilled throughout her career and it's not her fault. Harrison is a rockstar though

  2. No disrespect but you have such an annoying voice and I like your show.
