What does Henry Cejudo’s win mean for the flyweight division? | Ariel & The Bad Guy | ESPN MMA

Ariel & The Bad Guy, alongside Brett Okamoto, recap all the action from UFC Fight Night: Brooklyn, where Henry Cejudo knocked out TJ Dillashaw in 32 seconds to defend the UFC flyweight title. The guys debate if the stoppage was too soon, and if stoppages should be considered differently in championship bouts.

They also delve into the future of the flyweight division, which appears to still be up in the air. (12:22) Helwani, Sonnen and Okamoto debate the merits of Greg Hardy competing in the co-main event, which resulted in a disqualification after an illegal knee to the head of Allen Crowder. (15:24) They also discuss if Donald Cerrone could earn a fight against Conor McGregor after defeating Alex Hernandez.

  1. It means TJ Dillashaw is a crybaby bitch. Go count the unanswered strikes and how many times his body dropped/collapsed. Slightly early stoppage and 10 extra seconds would’ve just been 10 extra seconds of getting his ass beat. Called it before the fight that he’d make an excuse if he lost, which he always does.

  2. Cejudo cuts just as much weight and he didn’t get dropped because he was good enough not to get hit. TJ lost handily, get over it.

  3. The fight was called correctly, if it was not stopped tj would've gotten beat up more.
TJ was "limped" @ least twice, knocked down or back @ least 3 times.
TJ looked past Henry Cejodo and that decision affected his entire lack of performance .
    Cejodo!!!!

  4. What was the fight were the ref let Shevchenko keep throwing bombs and Dana went to town on him saying it was a late stoppage. Only three people were in a position to know the truth and all of those were in the ring.

  5. Cejudo beat TJ very quickly which makes you ask how good is Joseph Benavides -Chael Sonnen Lol
