Colby Covington’s beef, UFC 235, more | Ariel Helwani’s MMA Post-Show: Episode 28

New York Ric joins Ariel Helwani in studio for the first 2019 edition of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Post-Show. The guys recap Episode 28, including Colby Covington’s strong words about the UFC after not getting a title shot vs. Tyron Woodley, with Kamaru Usman getting the chance at UFC 235.

They also discuss Anthony Smith earning a title shot vs. Jon Jones on the same PPV in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 2 instead of Corey Anderson. NY Ric and Helwani also recap the events of UFC 232 fight week and what could be next for Cris Cyborg and Amanda Nunes. They also break down Rizin’s year-end show and disagree about the rumors of Floyd Mayweather’s fight being fixed.

  1. This fight makes no fucking sense. Noone wants to see Usman fight Woodley….love him or hate him Colby is ahead of Usman and that was the only next fight to make.

Almost makes you think there's a good possibility the UFC just wanted to avoid the potential backlash and bad press from all the bullshit left-wing media, 'activist' groups and dumbass social warrior shit going on right now because their new ESPN deal is about to start airing shows.
