8. As a guy who works behind the counter in a mall for these things (my fourth year actually)
   It’s probably the super bowl for retailers like us. Can’t speak for big box stores like Walmart but in a small town in Florida for example, black Friday is a backbone for most, it measures a lot of interest for actual shopping when you think about the rise of Amazon this decade alone. Our store saw a 6% increase in revenue from last year though saw -17% in traffic. People are buying more, sure , but less are coming out.
