After Southwest Flight 1380 was forced to make an emergency landing in Philadelphia on Tuesday and it was revealed the airline has a maintenance issue, it led me to wonder: what’s the worst airline and worst airline experience?

  8. one of the topics I actually would have made sure to call in for:

    Worst experience ever with Southwest: My plane was fully boarded on time, a pleasant surprise. Once the flight was fully boarded though we just sat for like 30-45 minutes with no updates and the stewardess' not doing any checks or anything. People start asking the stewardess' what the hell was going on. They continued to say there was a delay and we'd be updated soon. Eventually a pilot comes over the speakers and explains that they're not our flight crew, they're just on the plane so we could board on time while waiting for our actual flight crew who should be there shortly. Another 45 or so minutes pass, pilot comes on again and says that our actual flight crew GOT THE GATES MIXED UP AND GOT ON THE WRONG FUCKING PLANE which had also already boarded, so neither crew was allowed to leave their respective plane until a 3rd crew was available to get our crew off that plane and come to ours. Our actual flight crew didn't show up until another 45 minutes later.

    I sat in a fucking non-moving plane for over 2 hours before takeoff.
