But Alvarez beat Gaethje in his last fight too? Ideally Dustin and Eddie rematch and that is the true #1 contender but I agree that Conor and Tony still beat them out for the first shot against Khabib
Seeing you grab the fence makes me think of that rule. Why is it a rule? Because a fighter could gain leverage? Ok, then stop using a fence. How about you stop having a rule about not doing literally the most natural thing when pressed up against a fence and trying to gain leverage. The rule is dumb. Fghters hide fence grabs. Refs miss fence grabs. Some refs dont even call it. Some refs actually pull the fingers out… Its as retarded as having three judges sitting below the fighters while watching from one angle, through a fence. The cage should be made out of some sort of clear material. There are many materials that could solve this. Stop being neandrathals about your sport.
I’m assuming Conor is gonna fight khabib. I’d say let Eddie and Dustin have their rematch for #1 contender. Don’t think Lee or barboza will be ready for khabib (esp if barboza wins). And apparently gaethje and Vick have beef so let them have at it
