I have thought since Bisping won that there is NO WAY we see a third fight. And Luke's reaction to that loss as the months rolled on only confirmed that. Luke really does seem to have allowed Bispng to take up residence in his head, Bisping knows this… so the W is really the gift that keeps on giving from his perspective. You can have that narrative for the rest of your days if you're Mike. That it's come up AGAIN (thanks Luke!) has given me pause… but only insofar as $ is concerned. In my view the only way Bisping takes this fight is if there is a shitload of cash on the table. I don't think that's happening… yet. But it would be the only rationale that makes sense to me. And Luke at 205? It's a shitshow based on the available information: hasn't fixed his flaws, is prone to letting people get to him (his mental game does not seem on point at this juncture), has never been fully tested in terms of durability/being dragged into truly deep water in the octagon (have yet to see him in a dirty war…. coz his losses have him clocked…. so that's a big unanswered question), and he's got another $ gig to fall back on. I will be here for it if it happens…. but mostly for the trainwreck aspect tbh.
